It was an honour and I sure hope it encourages other writers who struggle with their creativity. It's especially relevant to memorists and those who pen historical fiction. Putting our stories on paper and crafting them into publishable works of art takes persistence and it can be an emotional journey, too. So fight on, fellow writers. If I can do it, so can you!

In other writerly news, I’m excited to contribute an essay for the upcoming book, Central and Eastern Europeans in North American Literature and Culture, being released by Routledge Press later this year. Here’s a glimpse of the cover. So grateful to Dr. Mateusz Świetlicki from the University of Wrocław for his ongoing moral support of my historical fiction and for being the impetus behind this collaborative volume. I can't wait to read this intriguing collection on a subject close to my heart.
